YuvaNext is an internship and learning platform, created and operated by Yuvabe, a unit under Swagatham Trust, Auroville Foundation.

For Candidates

When you register or use YuvaNext, we may collect the following information:

  • Full name, age, and contact details (email address, phone number, etc.)
  • Educational background, skills, interests, and goals
  • Login credentials (user ID and password)
  • Information you choose to include in your profile, applications, or portfolio

For Units/Recruiters

When your organization registers or posts opportunities, we may collect:

  • Organization name, contact person, and communication details
  • Internship, project, or course listings
  • Any other information you choose to share for candidate matching and communication

2. How We Use the Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage user accounts
  • Match candidates with suitable opportunities
  • Facilitate communication between candidates and recruiters
  • Maintain platform functionality and improve user experience
  • Respond to inquiries or requests for support

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data with third parties.

3. Children and Youth Privacy

YuvaNext is designed for youth, including users under 18 years of age.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental or guardian consent. Currently, we do not have a system to verify users’ ages or confirm if a minor is using the platform under parental guidance. We rely on parents and guardians to supervise the participation of minors on YuvaNext.

If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal data without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete such information.

4. Third-Party Services and Cookies

We may engage trusted third-party service providers to support certain functions of the YuvaNext platform — such as cloud hosting, analytics, or profile matching tools.   • Candidate profiles are shared only with registered Units/Recruiters for relevant opportunities.
  • Recruiter information (organization name and contact details) may be visible to candidates applying for their listings.
  • We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of YuvaNext, its users, or others.

We do not share user data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.

6. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, misuse, loss, or alteration.

However, please note that no platform or electronic transmission is entirely secure. Users are encouraged to protect their login credentials and report any suspicious activity immediately.

Users may:

  • Update or correct information anytime from their profile

Upon such a request, we will delete the information within a reasonable time unless retention is required by law.
